MLS club Chivas USA have secured the signatures of Francisco Mendoza and Sergio Arias, both from sister club Chivas Guadalajara.

25-year old left winger Mendoza returns to Los Angeles after spending four years with Chivas from 2005-2008 whilst goalkeeper Arias has joined on loan.

Reports suggest that the Mendoza deal is finalised and his appearance at the launch of Chivas' new shirt sponsors, Corona, indicates he has returned to the club.

Chivas coach Robin Fraser will also bring in 22-year old gloveman on potentially a season-long loan although that has not yet been confirmed.
