Following surgery on his left knee, Sasha Victorine is more than happy to be back on the pitch playing for Chivas USA. "It was nice to get back out there," said Victorine, who came on for Chivas USA this weekend as a second half substitute.

"No matter how much you try to prepare yourself, when you're gone for 5-1/2 months, it's always different than you remember it when you get out on the field. But it was good to get some touches and feel like I'm doing a little to contribute to the team right now.

"I understand the game pretty well. I'm the type of player that likes to combine, keep the ball, and get it moving. Hopefully I can help get our team's rhythm going and create some opportunities."
