Former Chicago Fire coach Denis Hamlett reportedly interviewed for the vacant Chivas USA position on Tuesday afternoon. Hamlett is in Los Angeles and met with Chivas officials according to Soccer America Dailyas they seek a replacement for Martin Vasquez.

Hamlett joins Real Salt Lake assistant coach Robin Fraser, US national team assistant coach and former Chivas USA midfielder Jesse Marsch, former US international Eric Wynalda, and former U.S and Galaxy head coach Steve Sampson, along with several coaches currently working in Mexico, as potential candidates for the Chivas job.
