Chivas USA have no rush for Galindo to be at full fitness

Chivas USA head coach Preki is happy that Maykel Galindo made his first start of the year in the teams last game against DC United.

Speaking after training this week, Preki said, "At moments, I thought Maykel was dangerous. I would have liked to have seen him more involved in the game, be more active, be involved in more plays.

"But we have to be patient and wait for it to come because let's not forget, this is a guy who got his first start in more than a year.

"We're just happy that we have him on the field and that we can build on his fitness and strength and on his confidence.

"Coming towards the end of the year, I'd love to see him at full go. If that happens, he will be very important for us like he always has been."
