Francisco "Panchito" Mendoza has secured a dream move to Chivas de Guadalajara. The Mexican-born 23 year-old midfielder was a Chivas USA original and a firm fan favourite over his four seasons with the MLS club.
Mendoza, who has always been known as "Panchito" (free-man), told goal.com: "It's been a dream to be with this team. I believe it represents so much - it doesn't insult Chivas USA to say that Guadalajara has so much history. I'm happy with how I developed in MLS, though.
"I'll always have good memories of Chivas USA, but I live in the moment and what I'm focused on is doing my best in the current stage of my career."
