Chivas USA earned a 2-0 victory against Hammarby IF of the Swedish First Division in a preseason game played at University Field 2 at The Home Depot Center. Goals from Jim Curtin and trialist Eduardo Lillingston gave the victory to Chivas USA, while goalkeepers Zach Thornton and Lance Parker combined for the clean sheet.
Chivas USA host The Colorado Rapids on March 21st in their season opener.
