MLS club Chivas USA have acquired Jesús Padilla from Mexican outfit Club Deportivo Guadalajara.

The 22-year old American-born Mexican forward will be eligible to play for Chivas USA pending the receipt of his International Transfer Certificate.

"Jesús is a talented, explosive attacking player who will help our team as we work toward a spot in the playoffs," said Chivas USA Head Coach Preki.

"We're excited to have him join the squad, and look forward to seeing him in action for our club."
