Chivas prepared for Boy Scouts partnership

Chivas USA has agreed a partnership with the Boy Scouts of America, reports SportsPro. The Los Angeles-based side will work with the Boy Scouts Los Angeles Area Council to develop programmes allowing the league to work more closely with the youth group.

In addition to on-field activities and a ceremony at the Home Depot Center, which the team shares with the LA Galaxy, Chivas USA will support 'scout nights' to aid the group's recruitment drive.

Luis Rivera, the director of business development and community affairs at Chivas USA, said: "As a team vested in the community we are proud to have partnered with the Boy Scouts Los Angeles Area Council on this great community partnership, this year-long campaign will create awareness for the Boy Scouts of America programs and initiatives."
