Released Hibernian midfielder Ross Chisholm is disappointed with the club in going back on a decision to retain the Scotland U21 international. Previous boss Mixu Paatelainen thought he was worth a new deal, bit when new boss John Hughes took over a new contract was withdrawn, reports the Sunday Mail.
The 21-year-old, who came up through the Easter Road youth system, said: "The gaffer left and a new one came in and I'm not in his plans.
"The chairman Rod Petrie called my agent to tell him. I was disappointed he didn't call me to give his reasons.
"I'm not going to have sour grapes about it as there is nothing I can do about it now.
"But if I'd known three months ago I'd not get a deal then it would've been better as teams could have watched me in the final few games."
