Scott Chipperfield's move to Hertha Berlin has been put off after he failed a club medical test. The Aussie midfielder has been struggling with a foot injury recently and that is the reason for the German Bundesliga club will not secure his services.

"Hertha will not be signing the player Scott Chipperfield," a statement said on Hertha Berlin's official website.

"After an in-depth examination of his current injury, which has meant the player cannot train, it cannot be gauged at this time when Scott Chipperfield could start training or play his first game for Hertha."
