Scott Chipperfield netted a late double as FC Basel mauled FC Sion Sitten 5-0 in the Swiss Super League overnight. The Australian international hit goals in the 84th and 86th minutes to help his side to third on the table.

Marco Streller hit a first-half brace and Alexander Frei added a third with 12 minutes to go before Chipperfield finished off the demolition job.

The goals took Chipperfield's tally to three this season from five starts in the league.
