Chipperfield and Rudan to do battle in Swiss Super League

Aussies Scott Chipperfield and Mark Rudan will do battle in the Swiss Super League this weekend when FC Basel host FC Vaduz at St Jakob Park.

Chipperfield's side, Basel, are sitting 2nd on the table just two points off FC Zurich whilst Vaduz are at the other end in second bottom.

In Holland's Eredivisie, PSV Eindhoven and Jason Culina host Vitesse Arnhem at the Philips Stadion, Brett Holmand will lead AZ Alkmaar's midfield in to battle against Feyenoord with James Holland in tow and Nikita Rukavytsya will be hoping for more game time as Twente Enschede take on Groningen.

Luke Wilkshire and Dinamo Moscow will be looking for their second win of the new Russian Premier League season when they host FC Khimki and Josh Kennedy will surely get his chance as the lowly Karlsruhe take on the might of Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga.

In Turkey, Michael Petkovic takes the gloves for Sivasspor who face Besiktas in the top of the table clash as young trio Bruce Djite, James Troisi and Mile Jedinak will be full of youthful enthusiasm for Genclerbirligi who meet Denizlispor.

Socceroos star Harry Kewell will be looking for redemption after Galatasaray were bundled out of the UEFA Cup midweek when they host Eskisehirspor and try to break into next season's European qualification zone.

Chievo Verona welcome Mark Bresciano and Palermo in Italy's Serie A as Zeljko Kalac will most likely be used as a sub for AC Milan who travel to Naples to face Napoli and in the Greek Super League, AEK Athens and Jacob Burns meet Levadiakos at home.
