The 34-year old veteran striker was contemplating retirement prior to the 2012 campaign but has revealed that he is likely to play on for an eighth season with the Dynamo.
"Right now, I'm leaning toward coming back," he told the Houston Chronicle. "I feel like last year went well. I wasn't injured, and I felt I was contributing to the team.
"As we move forward, I want to be a part of the team as long as I can contribute to help the team win.
"At any point that I don't think I'm helping the team in that respect, at that point that's when I'm going to retire."
