A Chinese group are pushing Silvio Berluconi to open talks about a shareholding in AC Milan.

Corriere della Sera says the consortium have already sought permission from the Chinese government to launch their investment proposal.

Berlusconi is yet to respond and has given no indication of his plans.

The Chinese group would be willing to make a full-blown takeover of Milan.

It's been suggested they would be willing to offer €600-700 million to convince Berlusconi to sell.
