Chinese group drops bid for Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest's planned sale has collapsed.

The Sun says a Chinese consortium last night scrapped a £20million deal to buy Nottingham Forest.

They were left stunned by City Ground owner Nigel Doughty appointing new chairman Frank Clark and boss Steve Cotterill at a time when they believed an agreement was close.

So they have decided to call off negotiations and are now looking to buy another Championship club instead.
