China’s Hangzhou Greentown defeat Bulleen
Chinese Super League powerhouse Hangzhou Greentown are in Melbourne for a two-week pre-season tour.
Greentown are preparing for their Asian Champions League participation next month by holding an extensive tour down under.
Led by Head coach Mr Wu Jingui, Greentown have brought out 28 players and 12 coaches and support staff. They have Australian star Adam Griffiths as one of their five foreign contingent along with three Uruguayans and one European.
Last night they had their first game against leading Victorian Club Bulleen at the famous Veneto Club stadium. The touring Chinese were given a solid work out eventually running out winners by 4 goals to 3 in front of a large crowd.
Greentown have more games against North Dandenong Thunder, Oakleigh Cannons and Heidelberg later this week.

It was a real good game actually. Greentown played really well in first half but Bulleen youngsters were a handful as game wore on. Shame Griffiths didn't play, perhaps under done or carrying a knock. Could not be
Ieve how many players and staff Greentown brought out with them.
Good stuff anyway.
