China eager to lure Man Utd star Rooney

Chinese Super League clubs are interested in signing Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney, according to reports from The Sun.


The Chinese Super League has been revamped recently after signing a huge TV deal worth more than £830million and as a result, a host of Chinese clubs are looking to attract some of the biggest names in the world.

Now according to reports from The Sun, it has been claimed that some unnamed clubs are exploring the possibility of luring United star Rooney on a lucrative deal.

Tim Cahill, Demba Ba, Didier Drogba, Nicolas Anelka and Momo Sissoko are just some of the high profile players who have played in China in recent years.
