Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe believes that Chinese clubs will provide strong competition to the Premier League in future transfer markets.
Chinese Super League clubs have already spent vast sums of money on the likes of Ramires, Gervinho, Jackson Martinez, Alex Teixeira and Ezequiel Lavezzi during the past two months and the Cherries boss feels things may only grow stronger in the Far East.
Howe told the Daily Echo: "It is early days but, moving forward, they will possibly continue to spend big money and players will be attracted there so it could make it more difficult for clubs to recruit.
"It will be interesting to see the Premier League have a competitor because it has mainly dominated in terms of transfer fees and the income television brings.
"They are certainly having a go and attracting some big names."
