Pascal Chimbonda has conceded that he fears he may be on his way out of Tottenham because of the club's moves in the transfer market.
Chimbonda, who has been the club's first-choice right-back since his arrival from Wigan, has found his future put under threat by the Spurs' decision to look for defensive reinforcements in this month's transfer window.
"I can see my future could be away from Tottenham as a result of the club's activity in the transfer window," the 28 year old told Sky Sports.
"I am disappointed that the club have signed someone who can play in my position and are also hoping to sign another player who can play at right-back.
"I think if this happened to any other player they would be disappointed and would even consider handing in a transfer request, but I don't want to cause trouble.
"It looks like the club are looking to replace me and we will see what happens."
