Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has been slammed by Chile teammates after a blast from his wife.

Bravo's wife accused Chile players of partying and being drunk at training before their World Cup elimination last week.

In an anonymous interview with El Mercurio, one of his teammates lambasted the Manchester City goalkeeper's family: "He was no saint and his family are coming out giving lectures in ethics. That is not acceptable. These things are internal and they should stay internal, the rest is betrayal."

Others who were criticised also responded including Arturo Vidal. The Bayern Munich player posted to Instagram, "While they are talking, I'll continue working and working to continue getting better and to take my career to another level."
