Chilavert: Man Utd striker Rooney biggest World Cup disappointment

Paraguay legend Jose Luis Chilavert has branded Wayne Rooney the "big disappointment" of the World Cup.

The former goalkeeper was known as one of South America's most flamboyant characters.

On Manchester United striker Rooney, Chilavert told FIFA's website: "Rooney, in my opinion, is the big disappointment of the competition. I don’t know what's wrong with him, but he’s just not performing."

He also said he really liked Rooney, and that he was hoping for a big world cup. You make it seem like he hates Rooney. The interview is on Fifa.com, bias *****.
