Chievo Verona are willing to sell goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino to Palermo - as soon as they find a replacement.

Sorrentino is wanted by the Rosanero to step in for Salvatore Sirigu, the Italian international who has joined PSG.

The Italian custodian has asked for the move to occur and the Verona minnows seem ready to let him go.

Nevertheless, Chievo have informed Palermo that the deal will be put on hold while they search for a new 'keeper.
