Chievo Verona sports director Giovanni Sartori admits they now want to hold onto striker Victor Obinna.

"Obinna is an important player for us," Sartori told Radio Marte. "After playing two excellent seasons in Serie A, he did just as well in Serie B and he is only 21.

"We have a half promise to sell him if a big offer arrives. Our price tag for Victor is top secret, but there are lots of interested parties - we hope he will stay but we have to see.

"As for his striking partner Sergio Pellissier, he is our captain and is not for sale. It depends on our President Luca Campedelli, but he could stay here for the rest of his career."
