A move to Italy is being lined up for released West Brom star Robert Koren.

Serie A outfit Chievo Verona are seeking talks with the midfielder, who is captaining Slovenia at the World Cup as a free agent.

Koren was Slovenia's matchwinner against Algeria earlier this week and Gazzetta dello Sport says Chievo are drawing up a contract offer for him to consider.
