Despite a loss in his first match in charge, Domenico Di Carlo is optimistic that he can steer the club clear of relegation. Despite being beaten 2-0 by Juventus on Sunday, Di Carlo saw the positives in a clash which Juventus didn't always have control of.
Chievo face a massive test this weekend when it makes the trip to the San Siro to take on AC Milan.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss, Di Carlo said: "There is lots of important work to be done in order to make ourselves a permanent fixture in Serie A, but I know Chievo have quality players and fans.
"I thought we played well against Juve. We were aggressive and the players attacked the spaces while holding their positions well.
"Nonetheless, there's obviously lots of room for improvement."
