"I know that Chievo consider me untouchable, but when offers have come in from important clubs, they were evaluated," said the striker.
"I stood out with Chievo because I played consistent first team football and was therefore allowed to make mistakes, something that would not be tolerated in a big club.
"But these are the sides that open up important doors, so I expect I'm in the Nazionale jersey now because I scored a hat-trick against Juventus, not Reggina.
"I must admit, I do feel ready for a top club. Fiorentina are a very ambitious side and it would be a great option for me.
"I wouldn't play all the time, but with the Champions League participation I could give Alberto Gilardino a rest and make my own mark."
