Chievo Verona president Luca Campedelli says survival is their only target for next season's Serie A return.

He said: "Around this time last year we were preparing for the Serie B tournament and our declared objective was to get back into the top flight immediately.

"That is a goal we achieved brilliantly, and for this I thank the team, staff and whole club from the bottom of my heart.

"For this coming season we want to honour our participation in Serie A as best we can and achieve safety."
