Promoted Chievo Verona are chasing Inter Milan goalkeeper Francesco Toldo.
Chievo hope the prospect of Toldo, 36, closing his career as a first-choice will convince him about moving to Verona for next season.
Chievo sports chief Giovanni Sartori said: "It would be an honour to bring Toldo here."
