Chievo Verona chief Giovanni Sartori has dismissed talk of a move to Napoli for striker Sergio Pellissier.
"Sergio has been one of the protagonists in Chievo's survival. In the second half of the season he scored 12 goals," Sartori told Kiss Kiss Napoli.
"He is a fundamental player for us and I believe that it would be difficult for President Campedelli to sell him.
"Sure, if an important offer were to arrive we would have to evaluate it," Sartori explained before being asked if Napoli had made a £10m bid for Pellissier.
"There has not been an official offer. There has only been an exchange of information with Napoli.
"In this moment, I am not in a position to establish a precise figure, but I can say that last year the President refused an important offer from Genoa, who proposed Marco Di Vaio in exchange."
