Chievo Verona coach Mimmo di Carlo says Inter Milan striker Mario Balotelli needs to grow up.

Balotelli was Inter's matchwinner yesterday, but ended the game slamming the home fans for their barracking of him.

"Balotelli above all needs to look at his own behaviour, as everywhere he goes people say the same things. Mario must understand he has to change his attitude," said Di Carlo.

"In all honesty, I didn't hear any racist chants. It seems normal that an opponent is jeered. The Verona crowd has always behaved well and Chievo see fair play as a priority."
