Former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba won praise from both coaches after making his Juventus debut in victory over Chievo Verona.

Juve coach Massimo Carrera handed Pogba a full Serie A debut and was pleased with the Frenchman's performance.

Chievo boss Mimmo di Carlo went a step further: "He's an ideal replacement for (Andrea) Pirlo.

"He's young but has an assured future in front of him, I liked him a lot."
