Serie A legend Enrico Chiesa is hoping Fiorentina can re-sign Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah.

Viola officials have confirmed they've made an "insane" offer to bring the Egyptian back to Florence for the new season.

Chiesa told TMW: "We start from the fact that when the Viola have lost important players they have always replaced them well.

"But I think another year at Fiorentina for Salah would not hurt."

Salah is also in talks with Tottenham and Inter Milan.
