Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini says victory over Roma this weekend will prove their title credentials.

He said: "Winning in Rome is an important test of strength at this particular time, given that there is the Milan derby.

"Roma are ahead of us, we've played one official match, but this season we have reduced the margin on Inter, and unlike last season, there is the awareness that we can compete for the Scudetto with the Nerazzuri."
