Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez has hit out at teammate Robin van Persie. The Dutch striker complained to a TV station from his homeland about fellow players running into areas where he was supposed to be during the Champions League shocker against Olympiakos.
Hernandez had already launched what seemed a thinly-veiled attack on the Dutchman.
The Mexican, in a message on social-networking website Instagram that did not name Van Persie but appeared to be a clear reference to his criticism, wrote: "Without your teammates you can't be somebody in football...always be thankful."
Later in the day, Hernandez tweeted: "My comment on Instagram had nothing to do with RVP. We are great teammates working for the same goal, the TEAM! & Cause the team isn't doing as well as we'd like everyone just wants to make everything look like a bad thing!"
