Chicharito says West Ham exit rumours are 'false'

West Ham striker Javier Hernandez has said that rumors suggesting that he could be set to move away from the club are false.

Rumours from Mexico suggested that the 29-year-old wants to secure a move back to his first club Chivas Guadalajara in Mexico.

Hernandez only joined the Hammers from German club Bayer Leverkusen during the January transfer window.

However in a recent post on his Twitter page, Hernandez recently suggested that he was not happy at the East London club.

"The news is completely false. I'm 100 per cent committed to improve the situation we are in at West Ham," Hernandez said.

"As I've always said, I'm a Chivas supporter at heart but I have absolutely never requested to leave West Ham."

The rumors that Hernandez wants to leave the London Stadium would have been intensified when David Moyes was appointed to succeed Slaven Bilic as manager of the club.

It was under Moyes that Hernandez fell down the pecking order at Manchester United which eventually led to him leaving the club in 2015.
