Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez insists he doesn't feel threatened by the arrival of Robin van Persie.

The 24-year-old Mexican, who could only net 12 times last season after 20 in his debut campaign in 2010-11, says he wants to learn from last year's PFA Player of the Year.

"I think in life you never stop learning, no matter what age you are. I try to learn from all my team-mates, but obviously it’s great to watch the other strikers in particular," he told United's official website.

"They have all helped me a lot and I know I will learn a lot off Robin because he is a world-class striker who has a lot to give to the team and a lot to teach us all."
