Javier Hernandez hopes his success at Manchester United opens the door for more Mexican players to join Premier League clubs.
Hernandez is aware of the trailblazing effect his achievements in England may have for Mexican players who have no real record of excelling on these shores.
"It is great if clubs are now looking at Mexico to find players," he said.
"It is important for me to do things well. Like me the dream of a lot of players in my country is to play in Europe.
"Hopefully by doing things well myself, I can open the door to a lot of other players from Mexico."
