Chicharito feeling confident in third Man Utd campaign

Javier Hernandez insists that he is feeling extremely confident at the beginning of his third season with Manchester United.

The Mexican striker joined the Red Devils from homeland club Guadalajara in April 2010 and scored 13 goals in 27 appearances in his debut season. He was praised for that effort before receiving some criticism even though he netted 10 goals in 28 matches the following season.

After a big pre-season, Chicharito is feeling fresh and prefers not to listen to what is written and said about him as he knows himself he is enjoying his football with the Old Trafford club.

"My first season was very good for some people and for some people it was okay," he said.

"My second season was okay for some people and very bad for others. Me? I'm happy and I'm enjoying my football. I just hope that the break this summer helps a lot.

"I had a proper rest and played my first pre-season with the team, so it's going to help my fitness. I'm the happiest player in the world to play for this club.

"I'm always ready if the boss asks me to start or be on the bench. I'm focused on the most important thing - the game tomorrow. I'm looking forward to it."
