Chicago group in Leeds takeover talks
A Chicago consortium are moving for Leeds United.
The Daily Star says the mystery American consortium want to buy a controlling stake in the Championship outfit after holding talks about a takeover last week.
They visited England last Thursday and were shown around Elland Road and the Yorkshire club's high-tech Thorp Arch training complex.
Now they want to push through a deal which would free up the funds for boss Neil Warnock to build a side capable of returning to the Premier League.
