Chicago Fire have signed former New England Revolution striker Kheli Dube.
The 28-year old Zimbabwean was left unprotected by the Revs ahead of the 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft where he was selected by the Fire with whom he has now agreed a deal.
"He's a gritty, hard working striker that plays for the badge. Since joining us in preseason Kheli has shown his desire to be part of our club.""Kheli has been an offensive threat since he came into the league," said Fire head coach Frank Klopas.
Dube becomes the Fire's fifth off-season signing following four years with New England where he score 15 goals in 76 MLS appearances.
