Soon-to-be ex-Chicago Fire midfielder Freddie Ljungberg has revealed that he wants to come out of international retirement.
The 33-year old, who is unlikely to go around again for the Fire in 2011, retired from the Swedish national team following the European Championships in 2008 but told Sport Bladet in August that he is keen to represent has nation once again.
That comment has been backed up by his European agent Marlon Fleischmann who confirms that the former Arsenal and Seattle Sounders star would love to get back in a Sweden shirt.
"Freddie would like to play for the national team again, he is really hungry for national team," Fleischmann told Newzglobe.
