Chicago Fire's star midfielder Freddie Ljungberg is pondering a move back to the English Premier League. The Swede's agent, Phil Smith, confirmed that the 33-year old is keen to follow in the footsteps of his former Arsenal teammate Robert Pires who returned to the Premier League with Aston Villa this week.
Ljungberg joined the Fire from Seattle Sounders in the summer but is already considering an exit.
"Nothing is decided yet. Fredrik is open to suggestions and has several options in England," Smith told Eurosport.se.
"There are offers from several different leagues, but nothing will be settled before January."
