Chicago Fire's Krol joins fans in song

Chicago Fire defender Krzysztof Krol is becoming somewhat of a club legend following his decision to join in song with the fans in the crowd on the weekend.

The Polish left-back was suspended for the clash with Chivas USA at Toyota Park on Saturday but it didn't stop him leading the Supporter's Group at Section 8 in song for part of the first half.

"I went to the stand, they saw me and they went crazy," Krol said. "I came down and they told me that I'm a legend because I'm the first player from the Chicago Fire who did that."

Krol said he did the same thing when at Polish club Jagiellonia Bialystok and wanted to experience it with his new club where his popularity has now risen.

"In Poland I was doing the same thing," Krol added. "When I went to the game and I was not playing I went to see my fans. [They're] like another player in the field so I wanted to see [them].

"Yeah," he said with a laugh. "I'm a legend now."
