Chicago Fire have loaned Alvaro Fernandez to Uruguayan side Club Nacional.
The 27-year old midfielder, who joined the Fire from Seattle Sounders in July last year, will spend the rest of the 2013 MLS season with homeland club Nacional where he spent time in 2009/10.
Fernandez was recently loaned to Qatari side Al-Rayyan and the Fire have decided to send him out again after making just 13 appearances for the Illinois club.
