Chicago Fire hopes it's fourth time lucky

Chicago Fire, having lost to New England Revolution in the past three play off series, are looking to buck the trend. "All I remember is beating them three times this year," said Fire forward Chris Rolfe "We respect them and know they are dangerous. But we know we can beat them, and hopefully we will enter the game with that mindset."

Goalkeeper Jon Busch who has played in all 30 MLS games this season for Chicago and faced New England in the last three play off series is confident his team will pull through this year.

"We've always played New England well in the regular season but they seem to have our number in the playoffs," Busch said. "This year, we look to right that ship. It's going to be a battle as usual. New England is a very experienced team, they bring a lot to the table in terms of personnel and for that reason we need to bring our 'A' game."

Chicago visit New England this Thursday 30th October in the first leg of the Eastern semi-final.
