Chicago Fire gain SuperDraft pick

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that the club has traded their allocation spot with Seattle Sounders FC in exchange for a third round pick in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft and Sounders FC's spot in the allocation order.

With the trade, the Fire acquired the sixth spot in the allocation order, however, with Seattle's addition of Sammy Ochoa, the Men in Red hold the fifth allocation spot for incoming U.S. Men's National Team players.

With the addition of the natural 3rd round pick from Seattle Sounders FC, the Fire bring their 2012 MLS SuperDraft pick total to five - one first round pick, two second round picks and two third round selections.
