Chicago Fire's technical director Frank Klopas is continuing his search to find a new head coach for the club.
Following the departure of Denis Hamlett at the end of the 2009 season, the Fire remain without a coach but Klopas has revealed he will continue to be patient until the club finds the right man for the job.
"It is a very important decision and even though you want to get someone in here quick, you've got to make the right decision," Klopas said.
Chicago's motto of Tradition. Honor. Passion must be adhered to according to Klopas who has had Real Salt Lake assistant Robin Fraser and New York Red Bulls interim coach Richie Williams linked with the job.
"We want to make sure whoever the person is can continue that philosophy," he said.
A tentative date was set by Klopas for finding a coach which would be sometime before the MLS Draft Combine (January 8-12) and the SuperDraft (January 14).
"Ideally you say end of the year would be great," he concluded.
