Chicago Fire have secured the services of Jeff Larentowicz as well as pick 30 in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft.
The 29-year old former New England Revolution midfielder joins the Fire from Colorado Rapids in exchange for Chicago’s 11th selection.
“Jeff is a hard-nosed player who has consistently been one of the best midfielders in MLS,” Fire President of Soccer Operations Javier Leon said in a statement.
“His MLS Cup and Lamar Hunt US Open Cup championship pedigree will be a welcome addition to our squad.”
