Sevilla striker Javier Chevanton is prepared to rip up his contract in order to leave in January.

The Uruguay international is training on his own after not being registered by Sevilla for this season. Chevanton had offers from Galatasaray and Racing Santander, but preferred to take his chances with Sevilla.

"I couldn't consider playing in Turkey," he said. "As for Racing, I am grateful for their interest, but I would only consider playing in Spain with Sevilla.

"I'll change my situation in December, because this cannot go on."
