Chevanton slams ex-Sevilla coach Ramos

Javier Chevanton says he's prepared to stay with Sevilla.

The Uruguay striker has broken into the first team since the departure of former coach Juande Ramos, now of Tottenham, and said: "I have three years left on my contract and will stay here for as long as the president (Jose Maria del Nido) wants.

"I only spoke with Ramos once. I asked him why I wasn't playing and what I had to improve. He just said it was a technical decision.

"It's difficult to work when you have the support of the president and sports director, but not of the coach.

"But now Manolo Jimenez says everything to you face-to-face. I like that approach."
